I thought the Who was excellent, the sound was great and the song list was perfect. Really no change from the previous night. I was a bit skeptical to go see them because of all the times they have said this is thier last tour. Dont retire. The Who can still rock the house. The idiot from the NY Post on Weds. gave them a bad review. In his article he named "Teenage Wasteland" as the only song he thought sounded good. I don't recall a song by that name. Maybe if he researched his article he would have known it as "Baba O'Riley. He probally wanted to see Springsteen. What a fool.

Again I entered my time machine to take me back to 1971. The Who were playing MSG. The same band with the same engery and power that took to the stage low those many years ago did it again on October 4, 2000.
The band played the standard set list with Naked Eye and Getting In Tune in, and Magic Bus out. Pete was on fire many songs extended as on the first leg show I saw (Nissan, Camden). Pete was in a good mood and joked with the audience. He also looked to be having fun playing live in front of many friends. Roger looked tired. (first back to back show?) But as always he sang his heart out. He and Pete talked back and forth all night.
John, John is John. 5:15 outstanding solo. Roger sat on the stage and just watched the master work.
Zak, The backbone of any band is the drummer. (Moon is Dead Long live Zak) He brings power, reliability and youth to The Who. Pete can concentrate on playing and not worry about the the drummer being to fast or to slow.
There were some mistakes and I think a sound problem or two (YBYB). The Who played MSG last night. The Who I grew up with. As Pete called them The Fucking Oo!
