I was at the Bonn gig and wow, what a nice Rock´n Roll Band they are, the best! It was a nice venue and the band seemed comfortable. A Lot in the audience requested "Wire&Glass", that was cool. Anyway Anyhow Anywhere was a bit short, but powerful, The Seeker was a nice gem. They had soundproblems during the first songs, as Mr. Pridden mixed up Pete´s and Rogers Monitors, and Pete got a little angry. Mike Post Theme - the first new song, cool acoustic picking by Pete - great Song. Roger looked a little tired and I think he was a little too low in the mix. Pete was on fire, I saw him in 1997 in Dortmund, too, but this was something different. I could never imagine that You Better You Bet was such a rocking song live. This was a band, they played tight and rocked!! The whole band was burning by now and the audience went with them. My Generation with a cool jam and Won't Get Fooled Again really took it home. But the best thing I ever, ever ever saw was the Tommy section. Sparks left all mouth-open. Townshend is such a genius on electric guitar, Daltrey was on true form finally and is a incredible lead singer, after all these years. No one left dissappointed and I will see them again in hamburg this year. Long Live Pete and The Who
