I drove up from Virginia to see this show. I had seen the boys in July, but when I heard they were coming to MSG, I had to make the effort. The fact that Jimmy Page and Crowes backed out didn't phase me. What a closer! They were tight and rocked the sold out house. Each shown in his own light....Roger's vocals especially in "Real Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again", Pete in "Pinball Wizard" and John on "5:15". I took my son to see the show so he would know what real rock and roll sounds like. After "My Generation" Pete threw his guitar up and spun it, but caught it by the neck on the way down. Everyone wanted to see him smash it...he said "This is an AMERICAN guitar!" and the crowed roared. Long live rock and The Who.
