I attended show last night at the Hollywood Bowl. Roger was hoarse and could barely sing. Pete made fun of Liam Gallager (sp) and gave Zak flowers because Pete hurt his feelings.
During Magic Bus they stopped after two minutes and Pete started again in a different groove which then extended into a ten Minute Jam session.
Everyone loved it when Pete did his windmills and John's extended Bass solo went over well.
They were refreshingly sloppy and managed to loose the rhythm of several songs during solos and catch themselves to get back in sync.
All in all the audience was pleased and on their feet for Won't get Fooled Again.

The entire band, especially Pete, was in a very good mood. Roger teased John for actually breaking a sweat - it was a warm evening - as he introduced "My Wife" which John dedicated to all his ex-wifes, one of whom he stated was in the audience that night. Before "The Real Me" Pete told an entertaining story about the last time they played the Bowl in 1967 which ended with sound engineer Bobby Pridden being arrested for the use of all their smoke bombs. He talked about how Bobby was arrested and threatened with 18 months in jail, the rest of the band just went back to their hotel room. Pete stopped "Magic Bus" only to restart it claiming that he "couldn't think at that tempo". As they returned for the encore he publicly apologized for insulting Zac Starkey over the comment. Earlier Pete teased an audience member for screaming "I love you Pete, I love you Roger, I love you John". "Kids Are Alright" had a very nice coda where Pete and Roger ad libbed about the kids "always being alright, my kids are alright, your kids are alright, we just have to set them free like we were".
