Hi, I saw the Who at Forest National in Brussels, 10.05.97. They played exactly the same set as the other European shows, the only differences being the intro and a few lines of Pinball Wizard in the middle of Won't Get Fooled Again, an amazing solo by John Entwistle in 5:15, and Roger on acoustic in Who Are You. Special guests: P.J. Proby (The Punk and the Godfather, I've Had Enough).
This was the 4th time in my life saw the band, the other 3 times being between 1970 and 1975. Like many other people in the audience, I took my son with me, exactly on his 13th birthday. He's a real Who-fan, so you see what good education can do, even to a child of our time. Although the show maybe didn't have the same raw energy it used to have back in the seventies (which, of course, is difficult to say: everyone has grown older), it had at least the same magic as ever, with Roger still singing a razor line, Pete now really in control of the show, maybe a little more relaxed than in the old days, John better than ever. And then there's that Starkey boy: he's not Keith, but what a hell of a drummer!
