Fanreports
Steva Bastow
I couldn't get tickets for the Sheffield show, which would have been a bit more convenient, but I managed to get Wembley tickets instead. This is probably my least favourite Who concert. I don't know if it was because the new album hadn't been released yet and so some of the songs were unfamiliar, or that I had an awful seat (I couldn't see Pete for much of the show as he was obscured by a PA stack), or maybe it was just that my expectations were a little too high. Whatever the reason I just remember it all seemed a little bit flat. Mind you when we got back to the hotel there was a Sad Café concert on the TV and it didn’t seem so bad after all. Other memories: The Q-Tips with Paul Young on vocals was the support act and they forgot to switch on Paul's microphone for the first verse or so of the first song.
