The Who's first ever visit to London, Ontario, Canada. Band was in an electrifying festive mood. Pete commented "We love coming to this part of Canada, in fact we've always been somewhat superstitious about it. It's nice to visit your town you also call London".

Smaller venue crowd of 9,000 was as loud as a full stadium, as Roger commented "You're loud!". Band seemed to feed off the crowd's energy. Great encore, and the closing "Tea and Theater" brought me to tears. Thank you, The Who, for finally coming to my town I call London and fulfilling a lifelong dream.

The show was fantastic my friend, my wife and I had amazing seats one row off the rail on said there were 8,900 people there but it seemed there were a lot more people then that. the upper level about seven rows from the front of the stage.

I know the London Free Press As I said the show was great but there seemed to be element missing which was Entwistleís amazing bass. I know everybody knock Kenney Jones when he replaced Keith Moon (even though Zak Starkey did a much better job on the drums) but I feel the missing presence of John Enwistle is much more noticeable. I also feel waiting to release the Endless Wire well into the tour was a mistake, they would start playing material off of Endless Wire and people were just saying what this I never heard this before? There polite applause but nothing like the thunderous roar they got after playing there more well known material.

The encore blew me away but once more ending the concert with the Tea and the Theatre was a mistake even though after I bought Endless Wire I found the new material really good after listening to it a couple of times. Iím looking forward to watching the DVD of the London concert which you can buy which I think a very good idea.

I think I know Iíll appreciate the new material then and enjoyed the show a lot more knowing all the material.
