Another great fucking show by the Who. Pete said Jones Beach was his "favorite place to play in the whole wide world". (He last played there in 93 for the Psychoderelict shows). "There must be something in the sea air" said Pete...

Pete performed Drowned by himself on acoustic. Roger did join in for a little harmonica around the end. Rabbit was particularly good on Kids and My Generation.

Great Show. As good as I expected. I hope they come around this area again.

I saw The Who in 1979 (First Tour with Kenny Jones/Pete Cuts his Finger), 1982 (It's Hard Tour). Tonites show was the best ... inspiring ... Incredible energy by all band members ... Long jams, classic songs ... PETE SMASHES GUITAR ON WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN ... To Bits!! Zack Starkey does Yeomans duty on the drums. 2:40 total time.

It rained pretty hard and was windy, but no one cared. Pete said Jones Beach was one of his favorite places to play. Crowd was very orderly ... No one urinated in the sinks.
