Love Reign O'er Me played twice. Tom McManus: »Roger's earpiece wasn't working for Love Reign O'er Me, so he wasn't sure of the lyrics. He was thoroughly pissed off that his earpiece wasn't working. Also he seemed to have a rough time on keeping up with the songs.«

We all got more for our money that night!!! Pete asked if the people in the back (The Lawn) paid less than the people in the front (The Pavilion), in fact we did pay more, but WHO-> 's counting at a WHO-> concert? We did get to hear Love, Reign O'er Me 2X. What a wild ride!! As Roger forgot "On a dry and dusty road... " we all chimed in to try and help, but alas he could not hear us. Go figure at a Who-> concert. My ears are still ringing 24 hours later. As Matt K. says in the program (it rocks for $20) we could just sit home with the cold beer in the fridge and watch the latest DVD (The Albert Hall rocks) but we are drawn, we are called, we want to be there. I call that a Bargain.

Pete said after Behind Blue Eyes,(Rog got all the words right that time!! just kidding Rog, Pete forgot Drowned at the Albert Hall) anyway Pete said he was so happy to see us all there. He remembered, early on, when no one would show up (that didn't last for long) but he was so very happy to see us. I believe him. Seeing so many young children in the crowd with their parents is a testimony to the lasting message.

Could the heartfelt words from Pete and Roger have something to do with seeing the 2-day waning moon rising over The Lawn? I make a point of looking back at the crowd, must be that "oneness" feeling, just to see them, the light effects and hear everybody rocken out. I saw the moon and I knew it could be seen from the stage. Maybe, John and Keith where stopping by to say hi. This is Chicago's gift to The Who->, a rising moon over the crowd, perfect timing. I can't wait for the House of Blues!!!! Pete's right, just a little music everyday (like the proverbial "apple") does the body and mind good. The more of us with proper attitudes (like the weeks after Sept. 11) the better.
