The premiere of Tommy!

I was a member of the press, and I was at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. I remember them opening with Heaven And Hell with John Entwistle but unusally he did the harmonies with Pete not Roger. The stormed through I Can't Explain. They did the Fortune Teller/Tattoo Medley. They went through Young Man and went through Tommy. Tommy was with Pete playing a 12-String Acoustic Guitar. After Tommy, Summertime Blues, Shakin All Over, and the My Generation smash up! They gave me Keith's Cymbal, Snare Drum, and Floor Tom. Great show!
