Pete played at lot more electric guitar than during last years shows, the guitar solo during "Naked eye" was really vital and good. And even through some of the Quad set did he played the electric guitar. Roger played the acoustic guitar on "Who are you", Behind Blue eyes (where he dropped the guitar on the end of the song) and "Naked eye". PJ Proby appeared as the Godfather, but who played Ace Face is a bit unclear. It wasn't Billy Idol, but some other guy who I didn't get the name of. The comments in the Swedish press were pretty good.

Since I became a Who-fan as late as 1994 I have never got the chanse to see them live (I'm only 15 years old). But now the time had come. It was said that the show should have started 19.30 but it took about 30 minutes before they turned out the light and the giant screen started showing the waves (the beginning of Quadrophenia). Suddenly all the light got on the stage and there they stood playing "The Real Me" better than ever. Me, and the rest of the crowd, got absolutely wild! one of the highlights of Quadrophenia was John Entwistle's bassolo on 5.15 wich also drove the audience mad. It was so good one couldn't believe it. During "The Rock" Pete Townshend grabbed his electric red Strat and finally started waving his right arm as in the old days, that was pretty magical for me. Roger Daltrey sang as good as he always had and did a superb job on "Love Reign O'er Me". Of course he swinged his microphone all night long. After Quadrophenia The Who went of the stage and it took about five minutes of clapping and cheering before Pete an Roger did an acoustic version of "Won't Get Fooled Again", very good! After that came another one from Who's Next, "Behind Blue Eyes", this was also very good. Then came a wonderful version of "Substitute" with a really good solo from Pete. "Naked Eye" started with only Roger playing guitar and singing, I really liked that one. The final song was "Who Are You", superb. This was probably the best night of my life so my advice for you is to go see one of the remaining conserts. Goodbye!
