I sat in the front row last night for the concert at the Molson Amphitheatre. It was a great show. They are a little older, but can still rock the joint. All songs the same as previous shows: Quadrophenia + five encores. Won't get fooled, Behind Blue Eyes, Substitute, Can't Explain, Who are You (1st part of Fooled and Who are You done acoustically, Roger played acoustic on Who are You). Townshend acoustic solos were amazing. There was one point where he broke most of the strings on one of his electric guitars, and they had to bring him another one right in the middle of the song. At the end of the show, he flipped his guitar and it fell on the ground, then he picked it up by the neck and raised it over his head for several seconds, everyone thought he was going to smash it, but then he just gently put it down. There is a terrible review in the Toronto Star www.thestar.com. I sent them a nasty response. They were not at the same show I was at.
