So for the second night running and the 8th final show on this tour for me. I made my way through London traffic to reach the arena. Last night we were on the floor about 30 feet from the stage – tonight we were in the tears overlooking the stage on Pete’s ide – great view. Set list exactly the same as last night. Pete again was very up for it. First words before playing a chord was “So this is when we fuck up Shirley Bassey” and we were off. Highlights were The Real Me – the best I’ve heard since 2000 (and I’ve heard a few times this year). Won’t Get Fooled Again was really heavy and sounded more like they did when John was still with us – out and out rock. See Me Feel Me was even more uplifting tonight than usual. At the end Pete said that it was five years ago today that John died and he hoped he had not come back as a spider!! Then they went onto to say how being back in London made him feel very emotional and he really did look choked, he wasn’t the only one! An outstanding two nights and I thank them for making this such a year. It only seems a minute ago I was at Brighton and here we are over a year later – where the fuck did that go? Time is passing.

It was the 2nd night for me as well. Another great show and a little more chat tonight. Just one correction to the previous reviwer is that it was Roger who said that he hoped John didnt come back as a spider. It was quite poingient to be there at the last UK gig of the tour. I have done 4. Ashton Gate, Bristol in June 2006, Munich a couple of weeks ago and now the 2 Wembley shows. Won't Get Fooled Again was absolutely fantasic ... loads of windmills and a real crowd pleaser. I find it very encouraging that so many younger people are there. At the 1st Wembley Gig, Peter said, that it is amazing that they ware still here and more mportantly so are the audience. It is great to be appreciated. Good luck lads. Hope to see you back again soon.

Sixth gig and by far the best. Shirley Bassey truly fucked. Loved the banter, didn't realise it was five years since Johns death. You could see Pete needed to take some time before Tea and Theatre. Won't Get Fooled Again was awsome, I thought Zak had some fireworks in his drums -Moonie style. Bit worried at one stage with Rogers voice when nothing seemed to come out before he slapped his neck and was back on top form. Took my wife (hasn't been since Quadrophenia in '97), she said that Roger is still FN Gorgeous, and the videos were excellent. Sat next to someone 20 years younger who also knew (and sang) all the songs and even saw loads of kids (who were alright). Pete said he was knackered - so am I, but I still want to do it again and again.
