Note
A fair audience recording with what I'd call a bit too much high end-—the P.A. system was apparently inferior and the vocals are a good deal louder than anything else. Complete except for one brief cut at the start of 'Bell Boy'. The four shows at MSG were the only ones played in the States in 1974, the result of the band not playing in New York on the Quadrophenia tour the previous year. The set is similar to the recent Charlton and Portsmouth shows and the playing is again somewhat disjointed, which the band blamed on sound problems-—they do seem out of sorts in some parts, as if they can't hear each other well enough, but the problem seems to be limited to the stage monitors, since the sound balance on the recording is decent.
