Fanreports

Kenneth Crews

The Who, the original four members. Keith Moon, with his thick British accent, made jokes about claiming to be from Minnesota. Metropolitan Sports Center, Bloomington, Minnesota, August 15, 1971 Cost of admission: $5.00 general admission, no reserved seats. I arrived five hours before the concert to have a place on the floor close to the stage. By the end of the concert, I was pushed in the crowd until only one person was between me and the stage. Opening act was Wishbone Ash. The Who performed many songs from "Who's Next" and "Tommy." Powerful version of "Won't Get Fooled Again." Encore was "Magic Bus." It was the best concert I ever attended!
